Thanksgiving Mega Post - Updated

This post is updated from last year with my favorite recipes for Thanksgiving.

Ok, so I figure everyone who procrastinated about what to make for Thanksgiving appetizers, sides, and dessert is starting to panic right about now.  Never fear.  Here is a list of delicious, Thanksgiving-approved dishes that will be perfect for your Thanksgiving table!  Now go get 'em!  Report back to me with your success stories and/or stories of epic horror!

Thanksgiving-akah:
Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Dreidels
Perfect Potato Latkes
Curry Sweet Potato Latkes
Christy and Jane's Challah Bread

Turkey:
Herb-Butter Rubbed Roasted Turkey

Starchy Sides:

Vegetables Sides:
Roasted Beets and Sweet Potatoes

Easy, Make-Ahead Appetizers:
Dessert:
Death by Chocolate (a great pie alternative for Chocolate lovers)

Drink:
I like to keep things simple with a crisp, acidic, dry white wine with Thanksgiving dinner.  Keeps me perky and happy through the whole ordeal.  Look for a Sauvignon Blanc or Chenin Blanc if you are feeling normal and a Viongier, steel aged Chardonnay, or Gewurztraminer if you are feeling feisty.  I also love to start with one bottle (I share it...I don't drink it all, ok?) of Cava or some fruity, sparkling wine for appetizers.  It perks up my appetite and makes it feel like a special occasion.

Most importantly...try to have fun!
