Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies

We loved these cookies so much that we never even had a chance to take a proper picture of them. That is how you know it is really serious.  These cookies have great depth with the extra vanilla flavor and are super chewy.  They spread out and are nice and thin too so they aren't like eating a gigantic monster cookie.  They are the perfect little pick-me-up on a bad, rainy day like today.  I loved having a batch in the house to snack on all week, although my clothes are all a little snugger for it.  I don't mind!
Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients:
2 2/3 cups flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup unsalted butter, melted
1 1/3 cups brown sugar
2/3 cup sugar
1 Tbs. vanilla
2 eggs
1 bag semisweet chocolate chips

1.  Preheat oven to 325.  Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt in a medium bowl.
2.  Melt butter.
3.  Cream together melted butter and sugars until smooth.
4.  Add in the eggs and vanilla.  Beat until light and fluffy.
5.  Stir in flour until only just mixed and add the chips until mixed through.
6.  On a lined baking sheet, dollup cookies with good space in between because they will spread out.
7.  Bake for 15 minutes.  Allow to cool for 3 minutes on the baking sheet and then remove to a baking rack to cool.
Store in an air-tight container as long as they last!
